Lee Meriwether, CCIM recently represented Alabama Power Company in the sale of an industrial property located at 2460 East Fifth Street in Montgomery, Alabama.  The property consists of ± 7 acres of land, ± 42,500 S.F. of buildings and a One and a half-ton crane.  The property was zoned M-1.  The sales price was $500,000.00.  The Buyer was JMP Enterprises, Inc.

Lee Meriwether, CCIM recently represented Mike and Todd Chambers in the sale of their former Chambers Furniture location at 6021 and 6031 Troy Highway in Montgomery, Alabama.  The Buyer was Bowen Properties II, LLC.  The property consists of approximately 6 acres and a ± 25,000 S.F. building.  The property will be used as an expansion for ServPro.  The sales price was $800,000.00.  

John Stanley, CCIM has represented BB&T in the sale of a former branch bank facility located at 1415 Gilmer Avenue, Tallassee, AL.  The building is ± 2,722 S.F. located on a ± 1.27 acre lot.  The Buyer was MAX Credit Union.  The sales price was $295,000.00. 

John Stanley, CCIM and Nim Frazer, SIOR have represented CB&S Bank in the sale of a former branch bank property located at 3080 McGehee Road.  The property consists of a ± 3,601 S.F. building located on a ± 32,204 S.F. lot.  The Buyer is Massey Properties, LLC.  The property will be renovated as a Jim Massey Cleaners facility.  The sales price was $175,000.00. 

Lee Meriwether, CCIM recently completed the sale of a commercial lot on Alabama Hwy. 14 in Millbrook, Alabama.  The sales price was $500,000.00.  The lot will be developed as a Popeye’s restaurant.

Lee Meriwether, CCIM recently represented Burks Enterprises, LLC in a long-term lease agreement for a property located at 715 Madison Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama. The tenant is Scott’s Auto and Tire Service.  They are based out of Millbrook, Alabama and this is their first Montgomery location.  The terms of the lease are undisclosed.

John Stanley, CCIM has represented 9066 Eastchase, LLC in the purchase of an existing Bojangles restaurant located at 9066 Eastchase Parkway.  The property consists of a ± 3,886 S.F. restaurant on a ± 45,944 S.F. lot.   The sales price for the fully equipped restaurant was $1,650,000.00.

Mark Dauber has represented Redland Grocery, LLC in the purchase of a ± 3.0 acre parcel of land located in Elmore County, Alabama at the intersection of Firetower Road and Redland Road.  The Property will be developed as a food store and gas station facility.   The sales price was $300,564.00 ($2.30/S.F.).

Nim Frazer, SIOR has represented BB&T in the sale of a ± 22,975 S.F. building located on ± 3.5 acres at 544 Cahaba Road, in Greenville, AL.  The Buyer was Life Line Church, Inc.  The sales price was $400,000.00.
